ABOUT US

Birdies for Babies was created by Todd and Melissa Trader in the greater Chicago area. After going through several failed IVF treatments they hosted a golf outing to help pay for another attempt and eventually they were able to have their daughter, Jordan, and son, Breckin. They realized they could help other couples going  through similar struggles. So they formed this organization with the hope of helping couples who have not been able to pursue fertility treatments because of financial limitations or lack of insurance coverage. Since its inception, this event has helped many deserving couples realize their dream of having children!

Melissa's sister, Dawn, and her husband, Andrew, are excited for the opportunity to expand Birdies for Babies and bring it to Dayton, OH! 

Andrew & Dawn Gaydosh have also personally experienced the trials of infertility, so this cause is very near and dear to their hearts. They now have three children (Kenzie, and twins Dani & Drew) all with the help of IVF.

Now they too want to help other couples start families of their own!​ The first Birdies for Babies Ohio event was in 2019! 

The Birdies for Babies family just keeps growing! They are currently planning their 23rd annual golf outing in Chicago and have expanded to Indianapolis as well.

To date, 34 babies have been born with the assistance of Birdies for Babies and 1 is on the way!

Birdies for Babies is a 501C3 tax exempt organization and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
